Jigsaw woodcut inspired by the view of Mount Baker from the San Juan Islands, with the waters of the Salish Sea in the foreground. Mount Baker is known amongst the local indigenous tribes by many different names, the most common of which is “Kulshan.” From this distant vantage point the mountain’s prominence (how high it rises above the surrounding landscape) is absolutely stunning.

Approximately 15” x 21”; some variation in height is possible due to the natural deckled edges of this particular paper.

Printed on acid free, hand-torn archival cotton rag paper with a slightly rough surface that lends to the incredible texture of this print.

The blocks are inked by hand for each print so no two prints are exactly the same, but the photos shown here of a few different prints are representative of what you will receive.
